We’re thrilled to announce the release of Cinapse 1.20, featuring powerful new features and crucial bug fixes to streamline your workflow. Here’s what’s new and improved:

Assign Text Banners to a Unit

• You can now assign text banners to a unit. When creating unit-specific one liners or stripboards, you can now include custom text banners when generating a Main Unit One-Liner or a 2nd Unit One-Liner, for example.

In the text banner settings, you can now assign the banner to a specific unit!

Custom Layouts for Calendar View

• Tailor your Calendar View to suit your unique production needs with custom layouts. Find this new feature in your Layout Manager!

Drag-and-Drop on iPad/Tablet Fixed

• We’ve fixed an issue that made drag-and-drop unreliable on tablets. Tablet workflows should now be smooth and seamless!

🛠️ Other bug fixes & improvements

• Selected Strips Report Fix

  • Creating reports from selected strips on the stripboard is now working seamlessly.

• Report Filtering by Date Restored

  • Filtering by date or shoot day on reports is fully functional once again.

• Breakdown Sheet Deletion Fixed

  • Deleting breakdown sheets will no longer cause client-side errors.

• Performance & Stability

  • As Cinapse continues to grow, some users have reported occasional lag and delays in syncing. While it’s exciting to see such rapid adoption of Cinapse across productions at Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Disney, and more, this growth has outpaced our current infrastructure, leading to some unexpected hiccups in the app’s performance.

    Addressing this is our top priority. We’re actively building new infrastructure to significantly improve stability, ensure seamless offline work, and enhance real-time collaboration. Thank you for your patience as we work to make Cinapse even better!
