More love for Reports. Various bug fixes and improvements for Element Manager and Stripboard Searching.
More DooD Report settings
Adjust # of columns per page. Added ability to change # of columns per page in the DooDs PDF table. Options are now: 14, 21 and 28 columns per page. Font sizes and column-width auto-adjust for each setting.
Adjust row height. Added ‘comfortable’ and ‘compact’ height settings for each row so you can fit more/less elements per page.
Show/hide totals columns. Many users requested the ability to hide certain columns (like Total # Travel Days) as these are not relevant for their production. You can now show/hide each of the totals columns using a list of checkboxes to toggle each category.
“Create Report” menu re-design
Moved “Filter by elements’ to the top of form. Filtering by Episode / Element was a feature that many users had not discovered because it was only visible if you scrolled down to the bottom of the form. We’ve now moved it to the top, right next to the Report Name field.
Increased menu width to remove scrolling. Re-organized the layout of the menu to be wider and less likely to rely on vertically-scrolling down the page to find other features and settings for reports.
Moved all “Report-specific settings” to bottom of menu. Organized the form such that Input fields are all grouped at the top of the page, and checkboxes, toggles, and other settings are grouped at the bottom of the menu. Simpler to understand and navigate (we hope).
Improved Element Manager
Faster load times. For files with thousands of elements, users were experiencing lag when navigating and clicking through the Element Manager. We re-wrote the algorithm for how Element Manager loads and sped this up by 2-3x. Please let us know if this is still an issue for you — we will investigate further as needed.
Minor fix to Expand / Collapse all shortcut. These buttons work as intended now.
Bug fixes
“Select all” works now. When in “Search” mode in the Stripboard View, the ‘select all’ button wasn’t working. We fixed this.
Search mode toolbar. We added some extra spacing above the 1st strip in all stripboards so that the Search mode toolbar doesn’t over-lay on top of strip content.
Create new report board+calendar selector. Fixed a bug where if you change the Board in a new report, the corresponding Calendar did not update correctly.
Fixed “pgs” on strips. Fixed a bug where the the “pgs” cell on the strip wasn’t showing the number of pages correctly if 0/8 was input.
