Introducing Cinapse: Launching at SXSW on March 16

We’re excited to announce that SupernovaSuite is rebranding to Cinapse. 

We made this critical decision for one powerful reason: Our customers and fellow crew members want one easy-to-use solution for physical production. 

Rather than offering multiple apps for different workflows on set, we are consolidating all of our functionality into one universal app & platform. While we will still be offering all the features you’ve used and have learned about in NewDeal, CrewPower, StarPower, and Walla, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve built a single, streamlined app that allows each of these features to work both standalone and in concert. This will give our clients customization and control over what features they want and need, and each set of features can be licensed separately or in bulk. These feature sets are: Cinapse Live, Crew, and Performer.

Cinapse, and our new update, will be launching at the South by Southwest (SXSW) 2021 Creative Industries Exhibition on March 16.

The rebrand to Cinapse will take effect in the current NewDeal app, which will become Cinapse next week on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store; our website will now be cinapse.io; and the Cinapse web portal will be accessible at app.cinapse.io.

All of our current features — the daily schedule dashboard, set updates, document distro, and metrics — are part of our Cinapse Live feature set. We will be adding more features to Live, including analytics and reports, throughout the year. In the next few months, we’ll be releasing the Cinapse Performer and Crew feature sets, which include background vouchers, Exhibit Gs, a live DooDs report, automatic background breakdowns and hot cost reports, customizable production and crew paperwork, and more in development.
