Welcoming Deniese Davis to our Board of Advisors
We are thrilled to announce our newest member of the Cinapse Board of Advisors, Deniese Davis. Deniese is a four-time Emmy®-nominated Producer and the CEO/founder of Reform Media Group, which recently inked an exclusive development deal with Tyler Perry Studios.
Beginning her career producing music videos, short films, and digital content, she joined her now long-time collaborator Issa Rae on the award-winning web series The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl.
Previous producing credits include HBO’s Emmy-nominated comedy series’ INSECURE, A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW, and the HBO Max comedy series RAP SH!T. She is also a Co-Founder of ColorCreative, a management company dedicated to supporting diverse creators.
An alum of CUNY Brooklyn College and The American Film Institute, Deniese sits on the board of Black Public Media, The Blackhouse Foundation, and is a founding member of AFI’s Alumni Council for the Lawrence Herbert Alumni Center.
Deniese joins David Anderman, Sandy Climan, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jim Kleverweis on the advisory board, rounding out the team with her production and business operations expertise. We look forward to working with and learning from Deniese.
