Version 1.4
We added the ability to upload multiple scripts to one file, snap to corresponding strips when using Search, and corrected the “Add new strip / text banner / daybreak” selection UX to improve usability.
Improvements
Multiple scripts in one file.
Upload multiple .FDX scripts. Many customers requested the ability to upload multiple scripts as they were working in cross-boarded files. This is now possible.
Better Search feature.
Snap / scroll to relevant strip when searching. Per customer requests, search-mode now automatically scrolls your stripboard to the search-result.
DooDs view polish.
Expand/collapse rows in DooDs view. This was requested by many users. Quickly expand/collapse all your DooD rows for easier navigation.
More compact DooDs view. Made the DooDs view more compact so that customers can see more columns-per-page. We also are aware that this is needed in the DooDs PDF report view, and this fix is in our roadmap as well.
Stripboard UX improvements.
Add new strip / text banner / daybreak. Fixed a bug where after adding a new strip, the newly created strip wasn’t auto-selected. This caused new strips / banners / daybreaks to default to being added to the top of the stripboard which was annoying. Fixed this.
Added “Notes” text to strips. If you design your strip to contain the “Notes” category, there is now prefix text that reads “Notes” on every strip. This was requested by a few customers that rely on this category heavily.
Bug fixes.
Cloned element bug. We found a bug where if you edit an existing element and rename it, the error message tells you “you cant have duplicate element names” but if you click “done” anyways, it incorrectly allowed you to create a duplicate element with an identical name. We fixed this and prevent this from happening now.
Fixed search in the Element Manager. Search wasn’t filtering elements correctly, but now this is fixed.
File loading bug. One of our users reported an infinite loading screen when trying to load their file. We found the root problem (it was related and unique to users that renamed the default-board that is automatically created in all new Cinapse files) and resolved the issue within 30 minutes of receiving the report. Please let us know if any of you encounter loading file issues again.
